Enchanting Group is an association of companies whose principal objectives are global awareness, taking care of our planet, and changing our relationship with our surroundings in order to achieve a more harmonious and productive way of life by taking advantage of the synergy of our commercial products based on the tourism market and interpersonal development.
Our goal is to generate ecological awareness through the activities we develop, both in the area of ecotourism as well as in Web communities. Our endeavors begin in real economy (our hotels) and transcend into the web, an ideal environment to promote and instill a change in awareness with respect to the world we live in.
The purpose of our company is to be a tool that helps each person experiment and maintain harmony with themselves, with others, and with their surroundings. We believe that through this individual harmony, one can gain true awareness on a collective level, to understand the needs and changes in perception, and the responsibility that each one of us faces in this new stage of our world.
Ulaa in Patagonia: Our Story
With our goal set on providing a unique and lasting eco experience, we acquired almost 585 acres of pristine land surrounded by two glorious lakes (with 3 miles of coastline) in the deep of the Chilean Patagonia.
We chose Patagonia as a place to forge a special connection with the Earth. Right from the beginning, the fusion of local Mapuche culture and Lago Puelo’s and Lago Inferior´s energy made us feel at home.
In Patagonia, the unique combination of indigenous wisdom and Mapuche rituals allow us to share with our guests and visitors a constant learning environment where magical experiences abound.
We also believe that it is important for guests to involve themselves in their surroundings and with the locals in order to learn about the flora, fauna, local folk tales, anecdotes, and customs of the area’s pioneers and settlers. Close contact with the Earth, its people and their lifestyle provide the ideal conditions for an unforgettable experience.
For Ulaa Patagonia we used local construction materials provided by people of the area and employed members of the neighboring community of Segundo Corral. Our objective is to help the community reap the benefits of our presence in the area, foster the cultural values and traditions of locals, and reduce any negative social impact.
